« US Joint Chief Visits Israel | Main | Another Set of Mysterious Explosions » Iran's Model US Carrier
By Micah Halpern
Tuesday July 28, 2020 I've Been Thinking: Iran dragged out a life size model of a US aircraft carrier. And then they had a tugboat bring it into the Straits of Hormuz. The model aircraft carrier is in the fashion of a Nimitz Class carrier. The USS Abraham Lincoln is in the region and another US carrier is close by. The real Nimitz just made an appearance in the region. It entered Middle Eastern waters from the Indian Ocean and will probably replace the USS Dwight D Eisenhauer. Why would Iran drag out a life size model of an US carrier? The Iranians are going to sink the model ship using their weapons. They will practice attacking the ship. I watched small rubber boats zipping around the massive ship, jumping in and out if its wake as it was being tugged. It looks like a game – but this is for real. This is serious stuff.
