By Micah Halpern
Sunday October 18, 2020 I've Been Thinking: Saturday nights, in Jerusalem, protests take place outside the official resident of the prime minister. About 10,000 people attend. Most people don’t wear masks and there is no social distancing. Most of the people are young, but there are some more mature people in attendance. Protest organizers claim that these Jerusalem protests are deliberately kept small and controlled. They assert that every Saturday night, throughout the country, there are other small protests that take place. They say that the number of Saturday night protestors totals 260,000. The protests began months ago and now there seems to be a groundswell. Polls show that Netanyahu is slipping. He is facing challenges from his rightwing flank. His political future is anything but secure. Read my latest book THUGS. It's easy. Just click. To reprint my essays contact sales (at) www.featurewell.com 19 October 2020 12:25 AM in Thoughts
