I've Been Thinking:
Azerbaijan's Economy Minister, Mikayil Jabbarov, announced that Azerbaijan will open an office in Tel Aviv. The office will advance tourism and diplomacy.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi has said about Azerbaijan: "Azerbaijan is our greatest friend and energy supplier. We will continue to work to develop relations."
This is new, important and very good news.
Azerbaijan and Israel have had diplomatic relations for over a decade.
Azerbaijan is a Muslim country.
Azerbaijan has tremendous assets of oil and natural gas.
Advancing tourism will help both countries.
