Saturday June 12, 2021 The story that Russia will provide Iran with high tech satellite technology was first reported in the Washington Post and then picked up everywhere. But the problem with Putin is that he, himself, is not reliable. There is nothing Putin says that can be taken at face value, nothing that can be assumed accurate or true. Putin does not want to be caught helping Iran defend itself. But that sounds exactly like what Russia is doing. Not wanting to be caught doing something does not mean not wanting to do something.
