I've Been Thinking:
Israel has mandated that people over 60 get a third booster against the corona virus.
The Health Ministry reported that 295,585 Israelis over the age of 60 received COVID booster vaccines in the first five days of the program. That accounts for nearly 20% of that age group.
There is no scientific evidence that the third dose will help. It certainly will not hurt.
Interestingly, however, the World Health Organization has asked for a moratorium on the third dose. Their rationale is that the entire world should get a first dose of vaccine before some get a third.
This is not a humanitarian gesture. It is a clear attack against Israel. Israel is the only country in the world that has begun administering a third dose of the COVID vaccine.
