England’s Minister of the Interior, Priti Patel, delivered a clear and unambiguous statement. "Hamas has significant terrorist capability, including access to extensive and sophisticated weaponry, as well as terrorist training facilities.” “The organization will be banned under the Terrorism Act and that anyone expressing support for Hamas, flying its flag or arranging meetings for the organization would be in breach of the law.” Throughout the years Hamas has tried to create a fiction between their military wing, Izz A- din al Qassam, and their political wing, Hamas. From this point on the United Kingdom’s definition of Hamas is in line with that of the United States and with the European Union. Hamas was founded in 1987.
