Don’t be surprised, but - the Russian navy held exercises in the Black Sea. Six Russian navy ships are situated near Crimea. They announcement that this move was coming was made in January. It is happening now. The original announcement was that the Russian navy ships would engage in simultaneous exercises in the Pacific to the Atlantic and including the Mediterranean. But it is the Black Sea that is most worrisome. Ukraine is on the Black Sea. And that means that the Russians are on another Ukrainian flank. This is yet another move of intimidation by Russia to Ukraine and by extension, to the rest of the world. Not long ago the United States sent ships into the Black Sea to check Russian activity.
