I've Been Thinking:

The head of Hezbollah’s parliamentary faction in Lebanon announced that with just $9 billion they could wipe Israel off the map.

According to Mohamed Raad: “The resistance only needs $9 billion and there will be nothing left called Israel in the region.”

That is, to put it mildly, a very bold statement.

When you analyze the statement, however, you see that Raad and Hezbollah demonstrate two major weaknesses.

Number one - they do not understand the value of the dollar. When speaking in military terms, $9 billion is not all that much money.

Number two - they do not have an understanding of Israel’s military power.

I can guarantee that if they were to get $9 billion and tried to destroy Israel, they would be the ones to be destroyed.
