I've Been Thinking:

The Pro-Iranian hacker group Al Tahrea announced that they had launched a cyber-attack against Israeli targets.  According to their claim, Al Tahrea launched a cyberattack on soft Israeli sites.

Al Tahrea and Israel have history. This is the same group that recently took down the Israel Airport Authority website.

Israel has come under attack from many hacker groups.  The most common modus operandi for the hackers is to identify and then attack soft Israeli targets.  

The objective of these hackers is not merely to infiltrate Israeli targets.  It is to show the world that Israel is vulnerable.  That contrary to reputation, Israel, the Start-UP Nation, is not superior in computer technology.  That they, the hackers are better at their craft.

The hackers want to inconvenience Israelis, they want to make life difficult for Israelis, rather than to cripple the country.
