Some stories are jaw dropping and this story fits that bill.

A new report published by Henley Global Citizens reveals that 42,400 millionaires live in Tel Aviv. 

Of these Tel Aviv millionaires, 2,260 have a fortune of more than 10 million dollars and 118 have a fortune worth more than 100 million dollars.

But that’s not all, Tel Aviv is also home to 12 billionaires.

The Israeli city of Tel Aviv placed second in the list of the five richest cities in the Middle East according to the number of millionaires who live there. 

First was Dubai, then Tel Aviv. Trailing Tel Aviv are Abu Dhabi, Doha and Riyadh in third, fourth and fifth place.

Despite its perceived wealth, it was not a city from the Middle East that topped the list of cities with the largest number of billionaires and millionaires.  That distinction belongs to New York.
