Israel has criticized Brazil for their decision granting berth to two Iranian warships. Brazil came to their decision despite pressure by the United States not to grant berth to the warships. Israel also urged Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's government to send the ships, which are docked in Rio de Janeiro, away. Reuters has reported that, back in January, Brazil declined to admit the Iranian ships as a gesture from Lula to Washington as he flew to DC to meet U.S. President Joe Biden.
