« Hezbollah TV - in Paris | Main | US Embassy Stays in TA » When Bad News is Good News

Hamas and Islamic Jihad are at one another's throat. It's serious infighting, and trust me, these terrorist groups are not arguing about the choice of menu in their respective soup kitchens. The rift is over power and religion. Islamic Jihad is Shiite, they take their orders from Iran. Until recently, the rule that goes "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" applied. The two groups coordinated movements and worked together to attack Israelis and Westerners. But now Hamas feels that Jihad is encroaching on their turf and worse, even stealing the limelight. Sunni/ Hamas leader Fathi Hamad is on record saying "They have managed to takeover the media and get ahead of us." Hamad is a member of the Sura Council, the highest Hamas religious entity in Gaza and responsible for Hamas communications. What happens when terrorists fight one another and anarchy sets in? 4 June 2017 12:14 PM in Thoughts
