By Micah Halpern
Wednesday January 5, 2005 I've Been Thinking: Palestinian Arab Muslim terrorists attacked the Erez checkpoint, the spot that separates Israel and the Gaza Strip. The attack was an enormous success. Why? No Israeli injuries. No civilian Arab/ Palestinian injuries. Timing and location were what counted in this attack: Israelis loosened restrictions at the checkpoint specifically to allow 4500 religious pilgrims to fulfill their life long dream and participate in the Haj. They loosened restrictions despite the fact that the crossing has been the site of 16 terror strikes since September of 2002, some of them deadly attacks. Who were the intended victims of the attack? The logic works like this: What twisted logic. What a shame 15 June 2012 08:16 AM in Thoughts
