« NO, No, no TO TERROR | Main | Solidarity With Syria? Only In Israel » Bloody Tuesday

Wednesday December 7, 2005 I've Been Thinking: Yesterday was a very bloody day in Iraq. 43 people killed and 70 wounded in a double suicide bombing at the Police Academy in Baghdad. What lessons can be learned from these deaths? We learn that in Iraq, trust is often misplaced and taken advantage of. Security agencies, all security agencies, must wake up to the realization that even, especially, insiders have the ability to attack. Everyone must be subject to a the same "search" even if they are "local." We must always be alert. We must always be on the alert. 4 June 2017 12:14 PM in Thoughts
