I've Been Thinking:

When it comes to Iran and the Palestinians, the United States and Russia do not see eye to eye.

On the Palestinians:
Russia sees the new unity government as a significant step and Foreign Minister Sergei Levrov has even made a pledge to Hamas leader Haled Mashal that Russia will work to lift the embargo against his Hamas-led government.

On Iran:
Russia is a strong supporter of Iran and is working to develop Iran's nuclear infrastructure by providing both the manpower and the technology.

The Palestinians and the Iranians are using the Russian card to their advantage. The Palestinians and the Iranians are flaunting Russia's support and saying that it makes no matter that the United States is against us, we have another world power in our corner, we have Russia.

Russia is torpedoing the United States vis a vis the Palestinians and Iran. Tensions between the United States and Russia will continue to rise and rise.
