Friday July 18, 2008 I've Been Thinking: The London based Guardian newspaper reported on Thursday that the United States has decided to post diplomats in Iran. There's more: the US has sent a high level diplomat to join the UN the EU and Germany in their current discussion with Iran about nuclear development. The diplomat chosen for this mission is United States Undersecretary of State William Burns, who ranks #3 in the State Department. These are significant changes in US policy. Read my new book THUGS.
