Monday December 22, 2008 I've Been Thinking: On Saturday the first Lebanese ambassador to Syria was named. Lebanon and Syria are neighbors. The countries are not at war. Why did it take until now for Lebanon to finally appoint an ambassador to Syria? Things are slowly changing. Lebanon and Syria are not yet like the United States and Canada, they may never be.
