« New PA Elections | Main | Egypt Finds 2 Tunnels » Saudis Convict Journalist to 60 Lashes
By Micah Halpern
Sunday October 25, 2009 I've Been Thinking: A Saudi Arabian woman has been sentenced by a Saudi Arabian court to 60 lashes. Rozanna al Yami is the first Saudi woman journalist ever to be sentenced. Al Yami was convicted of licensious behavior. In Islam, the person administering the lashes places a book under his arm in order to limit the range of motion and thereby lessening the pain of the lashes. Read my new book THUGS. It's easy. Just click. 4 June 2017 12:13 PM in Thoughts
