Thursday January 27, 2011 I've Been Thinking: Protests are spreading in Egypt. Now the United States and the European Union have asked Egypt to permit the protests and allow the rallies. Let people voice their dissent, they say. Egypt will not take any risks for Western liberal values. If it comes to it, Egyptian police will massacre Egyptian citizens and publically hang and humiliate leaders of the opposition.
