Sunday September 20, 2015 I've Been Thinking: I just watched a video post by a Syrian rebel group called the Islamic Army. The video showed members of the group shooting rockets from the mountains supposedly down onto the newly established Russian air-force base. In the video the group explains that Russia will not experience a peaceful stay in Syria. This week more Russian manpower, materials and weapons arrived in Syria, including tanks and armored personnel carriers. Many people are worried about Russia's renewed presence in Syria. So much so that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is visiting Moscow this week to sit down with Putin. This is a very busy time in Israel. The holidays, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot, sap huge time out of the 24/7 work week…so taking a half day and flying in and out of Moscow to have a meeting with Putin says it is important.
