Monday February 25, 2008 I've Been Thinking: Castro has been quoted saying that he was relieved to have stepped down and that governing has exhausted him. Being a dictator is a 24/7 job. In modern oppressive regimes dictators rule with an iron fist - the people must be kept in line, but at the same time, the people cannot be pushed too very hard. Dictators are micro managers.
