By Micah Halpern
Monday December 20, 2010 I've Been Thinking: Turkey is up in arms over the agreement that was signed last Friday between Cyprus and Israel. It was an agreement about maritime borders. It was an agreement about oil and gas drilling rights. It was an agreement about who owns what and where. Turkey is livid because they do not accept Cyprus' authority to make such an agreement. Turkey disputes the very right of the Cypriot government to exist. Turkey controls half of Cyprus. Cyprus is just the catalyst. This is another in a series of events that pits Turkey against Israel.
