Saturday April 23, 2011 I've Been Thinking: France's ambassador to the UN Security Council announced in a discussion on Thursday that France and several European colleagues are considering recognizing the Palestinian state. They assert that this would be a great boost to the peace process. Now President Obama and the White House have begun their own new push for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Secretary of State Clinton and the president are pressing for face to face meetings -hoping to get their plan, which has been shelved for so long, back on track.
