Israel Selling Arms to NATO
By Micah Halpern

Monday September 27, 2021
I've Been Thinking:

The Czech Republic will buy a new air defense system from Israel. The new, Israeli, system, will be used to replace their 50-year-old Soviet air defense system.

This is over a half billion dollar deal and it clearly demonstrates that Israel is making headway with NATO nations when it comes to arms sales.

Although exact details and numbers are secret, it looks like Rafael Industries, one of Israelís arms manufacturers, will provide the Czech Republic with 4 mid-range anti-missile batteries as well as command and control units.

The system is designed to protect cities and nuclear facilities.

Slovakia, another NATO nation, has placed an order with Israel for similar defense weapons, mostly radar and control devices.
