Wild Antelopes Roaming
By Micah Halpern

Wednesday September 29, 2021
I've Been Thinking:

The Arabian Oryx is a white wild antelope. In the beginning of the 20th century, these antelopes became extinct. Or so we thought!

A large herd of Arabian Oryx was seen grazing and strolling about the Arava desert. The video shows at least 16 of these white, wild, antelopes.

There is no mistaking them with their white bodies, black stiped head and black antlers.

In the early 2000’s Israel released several oryxes into the wild in the hope of allowing them to reproduce. We now know that the experiment was a success.
The video, shot by a Drone, verifies that this is a new herd with at least 4 newborn Arabian Oryx.

There may be many more herds out there.
