Thursday October 7, 2021 When executing a search warrant, it is not uncommon for police to find the unexpected. In Brazil, police were searching the home of an accused serial child molester. And that’s how they found a huge collection of authentic Nazi memorabilia. Uniforms, hats, helmets, all varieties of memorabilia. Included in the stash there were also various daggers and nine guns. There was a rifle, a machine gun and a large amount of ammunition. The collections was valued at $3.5 million After World War II, Brazil was a safe haven for Nazis. Nazis could gather and sing songs and regale each other with tales of the greatness of the Nazi era and express their yearning for its return. The movie “The Boys from Brazil” captures the essence of that period in history.
